SPORTS & LEAGUES

With an emphasis on teamwork and cooperation, the Y offers recreational and league sports for men and women who want to have fun in the camaraderie of others while staying healthy and active.

Open Volleyball and Basketball
All levels of play are welcome during open volleyball and basketball play. All participants will embrace the values of the Y – caring, honesty, respect and responsibility – in all open play. Please see rules posted at your specific YMCA Center.

Racquetball Leagues
Hit the courts! Racquetball is a great game, providing an intense aerobic workout while improving your balance and coordination. Racquetball courts are available at our Tri-County, West Suburban, South Shore and Rite-Hite locations.

Tae Kwon Do    Ages 6 and up
Through Tae Kwon Do participants will grow and improve in self-confidence and discipline. Martial arts programs improve much more than kicks, punches and throws. Our progressive programs teach proper techniques, self-defense awareness and practical application.

Martial Arts
All the foundational life skills and core values are incorporated in Martial Arts classes, such as self-awareness, self-esteem, confidence, responsibility, leadership, respect, and much more.
