EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
We provide a nurturing environment and enriching experiences that help to facilitate a child’s cognitive, social, physical and emotional growth. Our teachers focus on learning skills that are necessary for success in school and in life. Getting along with other children, sharing, taking turns and working in a group are a natural part of playing games or learning a new craft. We strive to meet the developmental needs of each individual child by working in partnership with their families.
Our full-day, state-licensed YMCA Early Childhood Education Centers care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. The YMCA has made a commitment to quality and safety by striving to surpass State of Wisconsin Licensing Standards and by working to achieve national accreditation at each of our centers.
All three of our Early Childhood Education Centers have been awarded the highest rating from DCF’s Youngstar rating system. This five-star system is based on education, learning environment, business practices and the health and well being of children.
