The Kohl’s Cares Grow Safe & Healthy program and eastern Wisconsin YMCAs have partnered to reach more children and families with injury prevention programming.

There’s a hungry dinosaur on the loose! How would you keep Spriggy safe?

Spriggy SafeT-V: Start the conversation with your child about safety.

Spriggy SafeT-V is a tool created by the Kohl’s Cares Grow Safe & Healthy program. In each of three online segments, adults ask more than 60 kids at the Rite-Hite Family YMCA how they might keep Spriggy safe from various calamities — like aliens and a giant octopus attacking, or being chased by a hungry dinosaur. The kids’ ideas are imaginative and funny, but when asked about how to keep themselves safe in real world environments, it’s clear they don’t always have the answer.

Watch Spriggy SafeT-V with your kids as a starting point for discussion about how much they know — and don’t know — about staying safe. Spriggy SafeT-V is available to watch and share exclusively on KohlsSafeandHealthy.com.
