Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are there ways to save on my membership?
Yes! When you join the Y with a friend, you each receive 20% off your monthly dues for as long as you both remain active members. Learn more about our Better Together discount, refer a friend, and start saving!
You can also check with your employer to see if your company provides a discount/reimbursement through the Y. If they do, please complete an employment verification form.
Q: How can I make changes to my account once I have joined online?
It’s easy to update your contact information, schedule payments, change billing information, and check monthly usage online. Visit our Manage My Account page to learn more.
Q: When will I get my membership cards?
Stop by any YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee location with your ID and we’ll take your picture and issue you a membership card. It’s a great opportunity to register for your free Fit Path appointment, too!
Q: How can I get my child (under the age of 18) their own membership?
We offer a youth membership for children under the age of 18 and older than 10. Parents/guardians will create an account for themselves (or use existing account) and add their child to the account. Select our “Youth” membership option and follow prompts.
PLEASE NOTE: The Y imposes a service fee of 3% on credit card transactions and 1% on ACH transactions, which is not greater than our cost of acceptance.
